CircusMühle Kelbra is an emerging international creation and production space for performing arts – with a special focus on arts in public spaces and circus. The space is open to all aspects of the artistic process and thus a space for collaborative work.

CircusMühle Kelbra is open to artists from all over the world. We focus on performing arts in public spaces and the circus.
There is space for art production, artistic research, experiments, and much more.
But our spaces are also always open to other art forms – or simply for a vacation in the beautiful landscape of the southern Harz Mountains.
What does CircusMühle offer?
The CircusMühle Kelbra has ample spaces and buildings:
• Spaces for creation, rehearsals, and residencies with sufficient height for artistry.
• Outdoor areas for rehearsals, creation, performances, and festivals.
• Rooms and apartments for artists and groups.
• And much more.
Participate
With KunstRaum Kelbra e.V., we have a supporting association for CircusMühle Kelbra as a creation and production space for performing arts in public spaces and contemporary circus, which has been under development in the rural area of southern Saxony-Anhalt since 2022.
Anyone who would like to support the project can either become a supporting member of the association or make a donation. CircusMühle Kelbra also welcomes donations of all kinds, such as circus props, gymnastics equipment, wall bars, mats, dance carpets, wooden chairs, beer table sets, building materials, and much more.
